Just a few weeks ago, plenty of people weren’t sure if the Buffalo Bills would be legitimate Super Bowl contenders this season.

They lost on opening night to the New York Jets, who lost Aaron Rodgers on their first offensive series of the game, 22-16 in overtime, as quarterback Josh Allen threw three interceptions.

But Allen has rebounded since then, and he was sensational in Buffalo’s 48-20 win over the Miami Dolphins, leading teammate Von Miller to call him the frontrunner for the MVP award, via B/R Gridiron.

Versus the Dolphins, he completed 21 of 25 pass attempts and threw four touchdown passes, allowing him to finish with 320 passing yards and a perfect passer rating of 158.3.

On the season, Allen is currently leading everyone with a 74.8 percent completion rate, and he is second with nine touchdown passes and third with a passer rating of 106.7.

Thanks to him, his team is seventh in passing yards and third in passing touchdowns, not to mention second in points scored.

Allen has made the Pro Bowl in two of the last three seasons, but he is yet to win a regular-season MVP, despite being considered the favorite to do so going into last season.

Yet what matters most to him and the Bills is winning the Super Bowl, something the franchise has never done.

They have finished first in the AFC East in each of the last three seasons, but they have reached the conference championship game only once during that time, and nothing short of a world championship will satisfy the Bills Mafia.
