The Los Angeles Rams were coming off consecutive losses, but appeared well on their way to breaking that streak when they took a 23-0 lead against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 4.

However, the Rams’ defense was unable to stop Anthony Richardson in the second half who was able to score several touchdowns to force overtime.

Matthew Stafford struggled to move the football later in the game after enduring what looked like a hip injury, but the quarterback was able to gut out the remainder of the game.

Stafford and Los Angeles were granted the offensive series in the extra period and they managed to score a touchdown to seal the game.

Puka Nacua was the recipient of Stafford’s game-winning touchdown as he found himself open for the 22-yard strike.

It was Nacua’s first score of the 2023 NFL season and he reacted to the play via his Twitter account.

It was another record-setting day for Nacua as he recorded the most receptions for a rookie through their first four games.

The wideout reeled in nine receptions for 163 yards and one touchdown, continuing his hot streak on the field.

The Rams have been missing Cooper Kupp who has been dealing with a hamstring injury, but Nacua’s been a revelation in his place and looks like a keeper for the long-term.

The BYU product has a knack for finding open space and has turned into Stafford’s favorite target with Kupp sidelined.

Los Angeles came into the year not expected to. be very competitive, but unleashing Nacua has given the franchise hope that they can win more games than initially anticipated.
