The Dallas Cowboys made a bold move when they traded for Trey Lance.

Some thought it could be Jerry Jones putting some pressure on Dak Prescott, while others thought they were just getting set for the future.

Whatever the case, going from San Francisco to Dallas has been a big adjustment for the Minnesota native, who’s still learning the ropes of the offense.

When asked about it, he told Jon Machota of The Athletic that he’s still living out of his suitcases and is still trying to find a place and move everything to Dallas.

He also talked about how he’s trying to incorporate all the new things and get a hold of the new offense, praising Prescott for how “clean” he is when he operates.

Lance failed to find his footing in the Bay Area, and it seems like he wasn’t going to be set up for success on the Niners.

But even though he’s been in the league for quite a while now, Lance is still extremely inexperienced, and there’s a chance he could turn out to be good.

The Cowboys can actually afford to bring him in slowly and allow him to develop and grow through his mistakes.

And while it might take a while before he actually takes the field, he could end up being just what the organization needed.
