LeBron James has seemingly gotten better with each season during his 20-year career in the NBA.
The King averaged 28.9 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 6.8 assists per game last season.
Considering he’s 38 years old, James was by far the best player in the age group than any other player in NBA history.
Speaking of which, James etched his name into the record books by surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the NBA’s all-time scoring leader last season.

James has a chance to become the all-time scoring leader in all of basketball.
As of now, Oscar Schmidt holds the record with 49,737 points to his name.
Ahead of the upcoming NBA season, James stands at 47,734 career points, per the above tweet.
If the King can play 70 games and average nearly 29 points per game this season, he’ll surpass Schmidt.
It would be another feather in the King’s cap.
Moreover, it would be another testament to his insane longevity and scoring ability despite primarily being considered a playmaker.
James will enter Year 21 of his NBA season while donning No. 23, as he gave up No. 6 in honor of late NBA legend Bill Russell.
While breaking Schmidt’s record could be on James’ radar, the No. 1 priority for him must be to win title No. 5 in his career.
If James succeeds in doing so, he will tie Kobe Bryant’s championship tally and have a legitimate case as one of the greatest Lakers of all time.
