In Week 1, the Denver Broncos had over six minutes left to score a potential game-winning field goal or touchdown.

Unfortunately, they fell short to the Las Vegas Raiders by one point.

Perhaps Jerry Jeudy could have made a difference had he played in their season opener.

Getting a wide receiver with 972 yards and six touchdowns last year back would certainly improve the Broncos’ passing attack.

Broncos head coach Sean Payton was asked about Jeudy’s status for Wednesday in his Friday press conference.

Payton replied, “He’s healthy, he’s good.”

Jeudy missed all three Broncos practices in Week 1 due to a hamstring injury.

This week he was a full participant during practice sessions on Thursday and Friday.

Jeudy has reportedly been practicing without restrictions this week as well, which is a positive sign moving forward this season.

They could use his production after Russell Wilson only had 177 passing yards in Week 1.

Worst yet, it wasn’t even a wide receiver who led them in receiving yards against the Raiders.

Jeudy is coming off a season in which he established career highs in receptions, passing yards, and touchdowns.

If that trend continues, he might be in for a breakout season.
