Despite being less than 100 percent, the Miami Dolphins started their season off in satisfactory fashion by defeating the Los Angeles Chargers on the road in Week 1.
Miami’s offense was fast and explosive, pushing the ball down the field with regularity and putting up 36 big points.
But as it was last season, their defense is a concern after it allowed 34 points to Justin Herbert and company.
They will head north to face the New England Patriots this Sunday, and head coach Mike McDaniel praised Patriots head man Bill Belichick for his tactical excellence on the defensive side of the football, via Henry McKenna.

In his 20-plus years at the helm of New England, Belichick has gained a reputation as one of the best minds in the NFL, and thus it is no wonder he was able to get six Super Bowl championships out of legendary quarterback Tom Brady.
Ever since Brady left in 2020, however, it has been rough sledding for the once-great franchise.
However, the Patriots defense has held up, as they have ranked in the top eight in points allowed in both of the last two seasons.
Although they lost in Week 1 to the Philadelphia Eagles, they were able to sack Philly quarterback Jalen Hurts three times while holding him to one touchdown pass.
Miami and their terrific signal-caller Tua Tagovailoa, as well as arguably the best wide receiver tandem in the league in Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, will present quite a challenge for the Pats.
The knee injury to star cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who was acquired in a trade during the offseason, has been a big blow to Miami’s Super Bowl hopes, but their offense could allow them to win enough close games until he returns late in the season.
