Tom Brady’s legendary NFL career is finally over, and he now belongs to the ages as probably the greatest quarterback the world has ever seen.

With seven Super Bowl championships, three regular-season MVPs, and five Super Bowl MVPs to his name, one may expect him to conduct himself as if he’s untouchable.

But tight end Kyle Rudolph, who played with Brady last season as a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, says the QB was very approachable and treated fans, ownership, and even low-level workers well, per Peter King via Dov Kleiman.

Brady certainly seemed to have the air of someone who was on a higher plane than anyone else, especially since he was married to Brazilian model Gisele Bündchen in one of the sports world’s highest-profile marriages.

He often seemed invincible, as he teamed with New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick to bring the franchise six world championships between 2001 and the 2018 season.

If anyone had any doubt that Brady was all that, he laid those doubts to rest when he led the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title in 2020, which was his first season with them.

Last season, however, his armor started to melt.

Tampa Bay went 8-9 under new head coach Todd Bowles, and although Brady’s numbers looked solid, he struggled for much of the season, and for the first time in his storied career, he didn’t look like himself.

More than once, he was seen expressing a high level of frustration on the sideline, which was an odd sight indeed.

Next season, Brady will start a second career as FOX’s lead color commentator for its NFL telecasts.
