The New York Jets backfield will be one of the pillars of the offense as they’ve got a formidable tandem in Breece Hall and Dalvin Cook.

Hall was one of the most electric backs his rookie season before he unfortunately tore his ACL.

The second-year player has been diligently rehabbing from the injury and is currently questionable to appear in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

Fortunately for New York, if Hall is unable to go they’ve got a great alternative in Dalvin Cook who is looking to prove that he’s still got some gas left in the tank.

Cook parted ways with the Minnesota Vikings but found a great landing spot with the Jets who would love to run the ball as much as possible.

Although the two have been together for a short time, Hall revealed that he’s already developed a solid relationship with Cook via SNY Jets.

“Me and him have gained a really good relationship… he knows exactly what I’m going through right now,” Hall said.

Like Hall, Cook’s dealt with his fair share of injuries and also knows what it’s like to deal with a torn ACL as he suffered one his rookie season as well.

For a young player like Hall, it must be helpful and encouraging to have someone who can relate to his situation and advise him on what to do to get back to the field as soon as possible.

Hall and Cook will likely split snaps throughout the year, giving defenses more things to think about.
