The Green Bay Packers have had the luxury of elite quarterback play throughout the history of their franchise.

Over the past 31 years, the Packers have had either Brett Favre or Aaron Rodgers under center.

This season will look much different in Green Bay.

They have handed the franchise over to former first-round pick Jordan Love.

He is now the quarterback of the future and someone the Packers hope will be there for the next two decades.

Love has played sparingly over the first few seasons of his career.

But he had to pick up something of note from sitting behind Rodgers for the past few seasons.

According to NFL Total Access, Love is entering this season with complete confidence in himself.

He said, “This is my team now.”

Love realizes the expectations that come with being the Packers’ quarterback.

He is expected to play well and play well early.

There will be no “honeymoon period” for Love as he has been with the Packers for years.

This season will give the Packers a great idea if Love is their next franchise quarterback or not.

Playing in the NFC North will give Green Bay a chance to compete for a playoff spot.

The division is not overly strong and the Packers still have a strong roster around Love.

Many people do not believe Love has what it takes to be a quality NFL starter.

Well, he has a chance to show what he can do this season.
