Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo recently dropped a bombshell about his future in the NBA and with the team that drafted him in 2013.
Apparently, Antetokounmpo has been doing some serious thinking about his future after the team got embarrassed in the NBA playoffs, losing to the eighth-seeded Miami Heat as the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Although the Bucks still would’ve had their work cut out for them to beat the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee seemed like the team to beat in the East before the playoffs began, which was obviously far from the case as the Heat exposed.
Even though Antetokounmpo was dealing with an injury, the Bucks were still expected to advance and didn’t, and that may have led to the superstar thinking about potentially not playing for Milwaukee in the near future.
On SiriusXM NBA Radio, former NBA player Antonio Daniels wonders what Antetokounmpo means when he says everyone must be on the same page in order for him to stay with the Bucks long-term.

Daniels believes that the rest of the team shouldn’t be to blame for what happened in the playoffs last season and that Antetokounmpo’s stance is basically saying “everyone step it up, or I’m out.”
However, the Bucks are always a contender with a healthy Antetokounmpo every season, and when they fail to live up to expectations, a lot of the time, it is because someone else is hurt, like Khris Middleton.
Antetokounmpo may be sick of the grind in Milwaukee, and he wants a change of scenery in a place that players want to go, but that remains to be seen.
