So, as World In Sport has already picked its top six challengers, it’s time to predict who could be in danger this season.

After being relegated from the first division in 1991-92, The Hatters are living their dream of a season in the Premier League, however, do they have enough in them to remain in it?

Rob Edward’s side faced a tough opening game, where they were beaten 4-1 by Roberto De Zerbi’s Brighton & Hove Albion.

Luton Town has so far spent £ 18 million on Ryan Giles(Wolves=£5 million), Tahith Chong(Birmingham City = £4million), Mads Anderson = (Barnsley = £3.5million), Thomas Kaminski(Blackburn = 2.5million), including two undisclosed fees for Villa’s Marvelous Nakamba and Stoke City’s Jacob Brown, and Free Transfers for Nice’s Ross Barkley and Rotherham’s Chiedozie Ogbene, plus a loan arrival for Manchester City’s Issa Kaboure.

Moreover, Edwards is still hoping for more activity from the club before the summer Transfer Window closes on 1st September.

“I’m delighted with the nine players we’ve brought in so far and if we can bring in three more, I will be pretty happy with the window we’ve had. The players we’ve brought in are good people and they add really good qualities in terms of how we want to play.

It’s a tough one, but unless they can make Kenilworth Road a tough place to play like Nottingham Forrest did at the City Ground Last season, I see them going straight back into the Championship.

The Blades are another team who could face a tough task of staying up. After finishing in ninth position in 2019-20, Chris Wilder was unable to sustain their Premier League status in the following season, so can Paul Heckingbottom’s side stay in England’s top-flight League for a longer period?

“Our identity as a team is gone. All I’m bothered about is replacing that or we’ll have to change the way we play a little bit.”My focus is not on any other team in the league, it’s on us and I believe if we do get the players we want, we’ll compete and make it difficult for teams and go and hurt teams.”

Heckingbottom: Yorkkshire Live

The South Yorkshire side earned automatic promotion to the Premier League via a second-place finish behind Vincent Kompany’s Burnley.

£42.90million was spent by United on Gustavo Hamer (Coventry-€17.30million), Vini Sousa (Lommel SK-€12.50million), Auston Trusty (Arsenal-€8.50million), Bénie Traoré (BK Häcken €4.60million), Anis Slimane (Bröndby IF-€2.17million) and a loan transfer for Troyes’s Yasser Larouci.

The Blades Boss took a particular interest in the Brazilian midfielder and is hoping the 26-year-old can make an impression on his first season back in the Premier League.

“Gustavo is someone I’ve admired for a few years,” “Mainly because of his high energy, high work-rate performances and his bravery to take the ball in difficult positions.”His quality has improved year on year and we hope that continues in his time with the Blades.”

Although survival is possible, the Blades will need a monumental effort to stay up this season.

This is a tough call as the Cherries were impressive under Gary O’Neil, but will Andoni Iraola be able to keep them in the League, I’m not so sure.

The Spaniard spent the majority of his coaching career at Rayo Vallecano from August 2020 to June 2023, where he guided Rayo to promotion to La Liga in 2020/21.

In their first season in Spain’s top-flight division, Iraola guided the Los Franjirrojos(The Red Sashes) to 12th place, where his side did the double over Barcelona.

Bournemouth have spent a total of £100.79million on Alex Scot(Bristol City £23million), Milos Kerkez(AZ Alkmaar €17.8million), Romain Faivre(Lyon €15million), Justin Klulvert(AS Roma £11.20million), and Max Aarons(Norwich City €8.10million).

One player who could be crucial if The Cherries are to have a successful season is Marcus Tavernier. Tavenier joined the south coast club from Middlesborough on a five-year deal starting from 1st August 2022.

Tavernier made 23 appearances for the Cherries last season, where he netted five goals.

In June, he signed a contract to remain at the club until the summer of 2028, will this agreement prove to be pivotal in Bourenmouth’s season?

So this is World in Sport”s relegation predictions, let us know yours.
