The NBA Hall of Fame is an honor that every basketball player wants to achieve.

But, it takes a village for any player to make the Hall.

Over a long career, there are many coaches, teammates, and training staff that play a role in a player’s career.

One player who had an incredible career is former Los Angeles Laker Pau Gasol.

He is well deserving of entering the Hall of Fame and was one of the best big men of all time.

Gasol made sure to shout out one teammate of his that had a major impact on his career.

That teammate was Kobe Bryant who was one of Gasol’s best friends.

According to Bleacher Report, Gasol said, “I wouldn’t be here without you, brother. I miss you and love you.”

This was an emotional moment for not only Gasol but for many of the former players in attendance.

Bryant touched many players’ lives during his career and he will forever be remembered.

Gasol spent 6.5 seasons with the Lakers and helped them win two championships.

He was the model of consistency during his career in LA.

Gasol and Bryant were able to bond so quickly because they both loved winning.

Championships were the only thing that mattered to those two and that is why they were so successful.

The Lakers have had many great duos in their franchise history but Gasol and Bryant will go down as one of the best.
