The Golden State Warriors have had quite an offseason, as the storied NBA franchise chose to shake things up this summer by signing veteran forward Draymond Green to a long-term deal and trading guard Jordan Poole to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Chris Paul.

The move to sign Green was a no-brainer for the Warriors, as he is arguably the heart and soul of this team and one of the main reasons the Warriors have had so much success over the past decade.

However, bringing in Paul is a questionable move, to say the least, as the veteran guard plays a different style of basketball and was a bitter rival of the Warriors for quite some time.

Although Paul being added into the mix in San Francisco is a move that could backfire next season if he proves not to be a fit or struggles to get along with his new teammates, Klay Thompson is embracing the arrival of the future Hall of Famer.

During a recent appearance on Podcast P with Paul George, Thompson talked about the Warriors bringing in Paul, and he seems all-in on the move.

As a veteran player who has already won four NBA titles during his career, Thompson is going about this the right way, seeing all the positives of adding Paul to the roster rather than leaning on the potential negatives.

Fortunately for the Warriors, Stephen Curry and Green seem to be going with the same approach to Paul’s arrival, as they’re all looking forward to getting back to work and contending for another title in the Bay Area.
