Ice cream recalled over pen pieces in product


Eclipse Foods Co., of Berkeley, CA, is recalling certain Caramel Butter Pecan Cups because the product may contain ink pen pieces.

According to the details posted online by the Food and Drug Administration, the recall was initiated on June 30 and is ongoing.

The recalled product was distributed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Washington D.C., Delaware and Illinois.

Recalled product:

  • Caramel Butter Pecan Cup
  • 14 fl oz. cup (8 per case) 
  • Paper cup with paper lid 
  • Brand: Eclipse Foods 
  • UPC: 810049270490 Frozen
  • Lot #: MC00923041
  • Best By: 2/10/2024

Anyone who purchased the recalled product should immediately dispose of it and not consume it.
