Deebo Samuel Hypes Up ‘Insane’ 49ers Offense This Season

The San Francisco 49ers are one of the frontrunners to win this season’s Super Bowl, and when one looks at their offensive unit, it’s no wonder why.

One of the stars there is wide receiver Deebo Samuel, who is not only productive but also unique.

He is perhaps the only wideout in the NFL who seems equally comfortable lining up in the backfield as a makeshift running back as he is playing his natural position.

Samuel has something to say about the talent the 49ers have on offense this season, calling the unit “insane” during an appearance on NFL Network.

San Francisco not only has talent on offense, but they’re also versatile.

That offense seemed transformed when they traded for star running back Christian McCaffrey in October, and his arrival was almost like getting two players in one, as he is also very productive in catching passes.

Samuel had a down year in 2022, but in 2021, he had 1,405 receiving yards and 365 rushing yards, and he also added eight touchdowns out of the backfield.

That production earned him Pro Bowl and All-Pro First-Team honors, as well as a hefty new contract extension.

He is aided by fellow wideout Brandon Aiyuk, whom some feel is poised for a big 2023 season, as well as George Kittle, who is one of the two or three best tight ends around.

At quarterback, Brock Purdy, last season’s “Mr. Irrelevant,” is set to retain his starting job after finishing last year in brilliant fashion.

The Niners seem to have more than enough to walk away with their sixth Vince Lombardi Trophy in about six months.
