From dates across the pond in London to movie nights closer to home, complete with snacks from a Calabasas Erewhon, the couple are proving to be going strong despite breakup rumors from earlier this year.
Back in February, speculation that their twin flames may be burning out started after Megan used lyrics from Beyoncé‘s 2016 Lemonade hit “Pray You Catch Me” and referenced “dishonesty” in an Instagram post, before deleting her social media account altogether. This prompted users to wonder if MGK may have cheated with his band member Sophie Lloyd—a claim which the guitarist and Megan both refuted.
In fact, amid the rumors the Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen alum returned to social media to set the record straight.
“There has been no third party reference in this relationship of any kind,” she wrote in a Feb. 19 post. “While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by ChatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all these innocent people alone now.”
