Kevin Durant Reacted To Fake Twitter Account Trolling Draymond Green

NBA players falling for fake accounts headline everything that went wrong with Twitter since the blue checks were put up for sale.

Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was the latest victim of this trend, falling for a fake Kevin Garnett quote by parody account “The NBA Centel” — which impersonates “The NBA Central” — and then going at the former NBA champion.

Garnett mocked Green for falling for a fake quote and even mentioned Elon Musk in the tweet, urging him to fix the issues he created.

Then, Kevin Durant took things up a notch by speaking some sense into Green with a hilarious tweet that read, “Nah yo, u gotta chill. Do something bout this @god.”

Notably, Durant knows a thing or two about Twitter mishaps, as he was caught trying to defend himself using one of his many burner accounts, and he later admitted that he used to do that on a regular basis.

Durant has seemingly dropped that practice ever since and just takes matters into his own hands by debating with fans from his regular account night in and night out.

Green was quick to delete his tweet calling Garnett out, but it was too late already, and it’ll be immortalized by NBA Twitter until the end of time.

“The NBA Centel” has been suspended, but it’s just a matter of time before another parody account makes another NBA player or celebrity fall for a fake quote.

That’s just the world we live in nowadays; just make sure you’re not next.
