The Los Angeles Angels are one of the most fun teams to watch in baseball.

Everyone wants to have their eyes on them just to see what Shohei Ohtani will do next.

He is not only one of the best pitchers in the league but he is also an elite hitter.

Due to his recent play, Ohtani took home AL Player of the Month honors.

The Angels posted Ohtani’s stats and they are MVP-level stuff.

He made four starts in the month and had an ERA of 3.26.

At the plate, Ohtani hit 15 home runs with 29 RBI and an OPS of 1.444.

Hitting 15 home runs in one month is the stuff of legend.

You simply do not see that from any player in MLB, let alone a player that has to focus on pitching as well.

Ohtani led the AL in All-Star Game votes as he will appear in his third straight Midsummer Classic.

Not only is Ohtani an MLB star but he is a worldwide icon.

Being from Japan gives him a larger fanbase than most other players.

Also, Ohtani’s performance in the World Baseball Classic helped fans recognize how great he is.

He led Team Japan to the championship and added another accolade to his decorated career.

The 28-year-old is a massive favorite for his second MVP award.

But what most fans want to see is the superstar playing in the postseason.

Ohtani has yet to play in October during his MLB career and hopefully that drought can end this season.
