After making a blockbuster trade for superstar forward Kevin Durant and firing head coach Monty Williams in favor of hiring Frank Vogel, the Phoenix Suns have been an incredibly busy team over the past six months or so.

Although it seemed as if the team was going to get ready for NBA free agency with hopes of improving their roster, Phoenix took everyone by surprise by making another blockbuster trade.

The Suns were able to pull off a trade to send veteran point guard Chris Paul to the Washington Wizards in exchange for sharpshooting guard Bradley Beal.

This week, Beal got a taste of what it is going to be like in his new surrounding in Phoenix, with the team’s Twitter account documenting his first visit to the Verizon 5G Performance Center.

With Beal now in the fold with Durant and Devin Booker, the Suns are expected to be one of the favorites in the Western Conference to compete with the reigning NBA champion Denver Nuggets next season.

However, there’s been a lot of talk about the team’s lack of depth and whether that can be what ruins this superstar trio in Phoenix, as it seems like more moves and signings need to be done to round out the roster.

So even though the Suns have already done a lot to compete for the foreseeable future, more work needs to be done this summer in order to strike fear into their opponents during the 2023-24 NBA season.

Center Deandre Ayton could be the next domino to fall in Phoenix if the Suns can find the right deal to bring multiple players back to the team.
