The one team getting more buzz than any other in the NFL ahead of training camps around the league is the New York Jets, and the main reason for that buzz is the recent acquisition of superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

After spending his entire NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers is following in Brett Favre’s footsteps once again, as he will also suit up for the Jets after cementing his legacy in Wisconsin.

Although some believe Rodgers has lost a step or two after a disappointing showing in his last season with the Packers, the veteran quarterback seems rejuvenated and as motivated as ever to play under the bright lights of the Big Apple.

However, Rodgers coming to New York hasn’t convinced everyone that the Jets will be Super Bowl title contenders in 2023, with former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum going in on his old team via NFL on ESPN.

Wisely, Tannenbaum points to the offensive line in New York being the major issue and the one thing that will hold the Jets back from title contention during the 2023 campaign.

Although Rodgers is still somewhat mobile and much more mobile than Tom Brady was with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, he won’t be successful if he has no time to get the passing or run game going in New York.

This is a valid point and could be something that becomes a major concern for the Jets as the team tries to live up to expectations during the 2023 NFL season.
