One of the biggest rivalries in the NFL is between the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles.

Each year they are compared to each other and are usually amongst the top in the NFC East.

It appears that will be no different heading into the 2023 season.

Last season the Eagles had the best roster in football which was a key reason why they played in the Super Bowl.

But the Cowboys have closed the gap on them this offseason.

Dallas has addressed two of their key needs this offseason in wide receiver and cornerback.

Also, they added a defensive tackle in the first round of the draft.

But Joy Taylor seems to think the Eagles still have a substantial advantage at quarterback.

Last season, Jalen Hurts had the best year of his career.

He finished second in the league in MVP voting and had close to a perfect season.

Even though many people like to talk down on Dak Prescott, he is still one of the top quarterbacks in the league.

Prescott was tied for the lead in interceptions last season, yet that was due to his aggressive style of play.

The Cowboys QB is not afraid to throw into tight windows and sometimes that leads to the ball getting intercepted.

Prescott has a track record of taking care of the ball and you should expect him to do that in 2023.

There is no question Hurts was better in 2022, but Prescott has all the talent to close the gap.
