Gilbert Arenas Declares The Warriors’ Big 3 As The Best Ever

The Golden State Warriors went from underdogs to villains in no time.

They put together one of the greatest sets of talent in NBA history using the NBA Draft, taking Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green.

Led by Steve Kerr, that trio figured out how to feed off each other and win four NBA championships, obviously adding Kevin Durant and some other key contributors along the way.

But regardless of Durant, Andre Iguodala, or whoever helped them over the years, former NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas still believes they’re the greatest Big 3 the game of basketball has ever seen.

Arenas pointed out that even though Draymond Green isn’t known for his scoring prowess, he brings too much to the table that goes beyond the stat sheet.

His defense, playmaking, and basketball IQ have helped that team win every single year.

Arenas also made a case for the Warriors being the most successful Big 3 ever, even ahead of those legendary Boston Celtics from the 80s with Larry Bird, Kevin McHale, and Robert Parrish, or the San Antonio Spurs with Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker.

The Warriors found ways to win with and without Kevin Durant.

They faced plenty of backlash for adding an all-time great scorer to a 73-win team, but it’s not like they needed him to make it to the NBA Finals or win rings.

They may not get the credit they deserve, but history will give them their rightful place once it’s all said and done.
