The St. Louis Cardinals changed their franchise for the better when they acquired Nolan Arenado.

In a deal that seemed one-sided, the Cardinals landed the future Hall-of-Famer.

That deal went down before the 2021 season and the Cardinals have reaped all the benefits.

Arenado continues to add to his legacy by joining an elite club.

According to MLB Stats, Arenado is one of six active players with 1,000+ RBI and 300+ home runs.

Arenado spent the first part of his MLB career with the Colorado Rockies.

Hitting in Colorado is known to be much easier than in other places around the league.

So some questions arose as if he would be the same player in St. Louis.

Well, Arenado has answered all of those questions in his first few seasons.

Arenado has back-to-back 30+ homer, 100+ RBI seasons with the Cardinals.

He is an elite offensive player no matter where he plays.

Arenado is now company to a few other players that should be headed to the Hall of Fame.

Miguel Cabrera is a lock to end up in Cooperstown while Joey Votto and Paul Goldschmidt have a chance as well.

This list is a testament to the longevity of a player and his elite offensive production.

The Cardinals are not having the season they have hoped for thus far this season.

With a record of 19-26, the Cardinals are in last place in the NL Central.

They must rely on veterans like Arenado and Goldschmidt to get them out of this funk.

There is still a lot of baseball to be played and the Cardinals are too talented to be playing this poorly.
