The New York Knicks did not have the end to the season they were hoping for.
Despite upsetting the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round, the Knicks lost to the Miami Heat in round two.
Some will say the Knicks overachieved this season, but that is not how the team feels.
Many players impacted the Knicks’ successful season.
But one player who felt left out was Evan Fournier.
According to Brian Lewis of the NY Post via NBA Central, Fournier is ready to move on and be traded to a new team.

As a career 14.0 point per game scorer, Fournier was an afterthought on the Knicks this season.
He played in 27 games and averaged a measly 17.0 minutes per game.
Fournier has been a good player for the majority of his career.
He can certainly help any team in need of scoring for the 23-24 season.
But his trade value will certainly not be that high heading into the offseason.
Since he did not play a lot, the Knicks will most likely not receive much in a trade.
The Knicks did a great job rebuilding their roster this past offseason.
The best move they made was by signing point guard Jalen Brunson.
He played at an All-Star level for the majority of the year and was a major factor in their playoff success.
If the Knicks can continue to build a round Brunson, they certainly have a chance to make another playoff run next year.
But you can bet Fournier will not be in New York next season.
