The Buffalo Bills finished the 2022 regular season with a record of 13-3 and headed into the playoffs with Super Bowl aspirations.

However, they fell to the Cincinnati Bengals in the divisional round, falling short of their prior aspirations.

Many teams have used the 2023 offseason to add to their rosters, preparing for the upcoming season.

While the Bills have been relatively quiet thus far, they have recently signed Latavius Murray to a one-year deal, per Adam Schefter.

Murray is a ten-year NFL veteran, and the Bills will be his sixth destination.

Last year, Murray amassed 703 yards with the Denver Broncos, which mainly came in relief of Javonte Williams, who tore his ACL.

At 33 years old, Murray proved that he still has plenty of gas in the tank.

If this signing to the Bills is any indication, Murray will look to contribute to a team that is ready to compete and make a deep playoff run.

Last season, the Bills drafted James Cook in the second round, who is slated to be the team’s lead back.

Murray’s veteran presence should aid Cook, as he looks to further his NFL career, gaining more traction as a leader on this team.

Plus, Murray will be able to take some pressure off Cook, allowing the Bills’ running game to flourish.

Throughout his career, Murray has also been known to catch a fair amount of passes.

If he is used in that capacity in Buffalo, Murray will be another weapon for Josh Allen to use in the passing game.
