With the first day of the 2023 NFL Draft already in the rearview mirror, teams are already gearing up to make a splash in the second and third rounds of the festivities.

As per usual, there will be no shortage of talent available in these rounds, which is why multiple teams are already being aggressive in their approach to this Friday night.

Notably, Kentucky standout Will Levis wasn’t chosen among the first 31 players, which was odd after he was projected to be a top-10 or even top-5 selection for most of the draft process.

He’s expected to be highly sought-after come Friday night, which is why the Pittsburgh Steelers have been fielding calls about their No. 32 overall pick, the first in the second round.

Jeremy Fowler explains that the Steelers would only consider moving that pick for a very appealing offer, so it remains to be seen whether Mike Tomlin and the company will stay put or flip that asset into more selections.

The Steelers could use that pick to land Joey Porter Jr., another guy that was projected to be a first-round pick but fell entirely, and he’s a guy they’ve highly coveted for quite a while now.

But with teams like the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Falcons, and Las Vegas Raiders still in a tough spot quarterback-wise, we shouldn’t be surprised to see any of them try and trade up for a chance to get the Kentucky product.

Whatever the case, tonight’s event figures to be quite interesting, that’s for sure.
