The Boston Celtics are way more than a one-man show.

Yet as stacked with talent as they are, Jayson Tatum clearly stands out from the rest of the pack.

Tatum hasn’t even reached his ceiling yet, but he’s already a veteran presence on this team.

And he’s been so good for the organization that he’s already passed Paul Pierce for the most 30-point playoff games in franchise history.

Tatum was expected to be the leader of the franchise, and he hasn’t let the fans down so far.

He’s had some poor outings in the playoffs throughout his career, but that’s part of the process of becoming a star; growing pains are always there.

And unlike some of the stars of this game, Tatum actually plays on both ends of the floor, and he keeps on adding layers to his game and moves to his repertoire.

The Celtics are coming off a heartbreaking NBA Finals loss to the Golden State Warriors in 2022, and Tatum left some room to be desired in that six-game series.

He’s been playing like a man on a mission ever since, having a chip on his shoulder every time he sets foot on the court.

He took over when his team needed him against the Atlanta Hawks in the first round of the 2023 NBA playoffs.

Boston won the series in six games and will move on to the second round.

Now the Celtics have a date with the Philadelphia 76ers, so Tatum will once again have to be at his best to spark another berth in the Eastern Conference Finals.
