Ahead of the NFL Draft, a lot of moves are made by all 32 teams as they prepare to bolster their roster with talented young players.

One move the Los Angeles Rams made ahead of this week’s NFL Draft is trading veteran wide receiver Allen Robinson to the Pittsburgh Steelers after one disappointing season with the team.

With Robinson now starting from scratch with the Steelers, the veteran wideout was asked about his short time with the Rams and why it wasn’t a good fit for him.

According to Alan Saunders of Steelers Now, Robinson feels he wasn’t used correctly in Los Angeles, as he used a quote from outspoken Chicago Bulls guard Patrick Beverley.

After a brilliant season capped off by a Super Bowl title, the Rams were considered a team that was expected to be a force to be reckoned with for quite some time under head coach Sean McVay.

Unfortunately, things fell apart for the Rams during their title defense, with star quarterback Matthew Stafford and superstar wide receiver Cooper Kupp dealing with injuries that ultimately ended their season.

Robinson was expected to provide a boost for the passing game in Los Angeles, but he failed to live up to expectations and has been given another chance to shine in 2023 in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers are trying to put it all together in the post-Ben Roethlisberger era, with Kenny Pickett under center and Robinson filling the void left by wideout Chase Claypool who the team traded to the Chicago Bears last year.
