Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers is in the familiar position of being one step away from possibly leaving the only NFL team he has ever played for.

This is the third straight offseason in which there are rumors he may want to join another team, and this time, it may look more serious than it did in 2021 or 2022.

Fox Sports 1 personality Nick Wright says that he believes the Packers, who are reportedly “disgusted and done” with the future Hall of Famer, will have Jordan Love starting under center for them in 2023.

Rodgers has undoubtedly left his mark on the storied franchise by bringing them their most recent Super Bowl championship in 2010, but in more recent years, the relationship between the two sides has become strained.

Last offseason, Rodgers publicly asked for a huge new contract, and although he got it, many feel it came at the expense of star wide receiver Davante Adams, who was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Then there was his COVID-related controversy, where he did not tell the truth about being vaccinated against the disease.

Although he is 39 years of age, Rodgers still appears to have another year or two of productive football left in him.

He recently hinted at desiring a reunion with Adams, which has some wondering if the Raiders could kick the tires on possibly trading for him.

The New York Jets have also been linked to Rodgers, although it is unclear whether they would be willing to part with enough draft compensation to get him.
