However, one fan feels this move can put the Heat “over the top” in the race to the NBA postseason.
Looking forward to @justbballshow breaking down why this puts the Heat over the top

One fan went as far as calling Love the “savior” of the Heat this season.

While many Heat fans love the idea of adding Love to their roster, not everyone was giving out their love with this deal.
The deal prompted one fan to tweet how the power forward is trying to be exactly like LeBron James.
bro wants to be like Bron so bad

Another fan feels that going to Miami now takes him out of playoff contention.
Guess he had no interest in playing in the playoffs. Sign of the off season is more important than playing into the summer!

One fan points out how the move puts him from a fourth-seed team onto a seventh-seed team in the NBA playoffs.
So when you get a buy out aren’t you supposed to go to a better team with potentially a chance to win? Someone tell KLove he did it wrong.. dropped from 4 seed to 7

While it’s too soon to be talking seeding, it didn’t keep the fans from using current records to bolster their arguments.
With the NBA playoffs approaching in the coming months, it certainly has many fans talking.
