By now, TikTok is dominating the world of social media, triggering mostly positive responses such as laughs, giggles, and likes.

One famous acronym that people commonly use on TikTok is ASMR, which relates to sensory videos featuring pleasant sounds.

How does that relate to baseball, you ask?

The Baltimore Orioles have put a funny spin on this famous acronym.

On Twitter, the team posted a video of Rookie of the Year finalist Adley Rutschman taking batting practice with a caption that read, “ASMR stands for Adley Smooth Man Rutschman.”

Rutschman sure does have a smooth swing.

The video shows him taking a big cut and sending one out to dead center field.

But what makes it so “smooth” is that the video plays in slow motion, meaning that when watching, you’ll get a nice, long look at Rutschman’s power stroke and see just how far he can hit the ball.

Along with Gunnar Henderson, Grayson Rodriguez, and DL Hall, Rutschman is one of many talented young stars within the Orioles organization, and one of the many reasons that the team has such a bright future.

The team was a surprise contender in 2022 and could have more to look forward to in 2023.

But for now, Orioles fans can enjoy the smooth swing of Rutschman.
