Hart, 27, is averaging 9.5 points and 8.5 rebounds a contest this season through 51 games. He brings backcourt depth to a Knicks squad who are currently right in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race. New York currently sits seventh with a record of 30-26.
This is Hart’s sixth season in the league and will be the fourth team of his career. Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, he was then shipped to the New Orleans Pelicans in the deal that brought Anthony Davis to the Lakers.
