Report: Blazers trade Hart to Knicks for Reddish, protected first-round pick

The Portland Trail Blazers are reportedly trading Josh Hart to the New York Knicks in exchange for Cam Reddish and a protected first-round pick in the future, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Hart, 27, is averaging 9.5 points and 8.5 rebounds a contest this season through 51 games. He brings backcourt depth to a Knicks squad who are currently right in the thick of the Eastern Conference playoff race. New York currently sits seventh with a record of 30-26.

This is Hart’s sixth season in the league and will be the fourth team of his career. Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers, he was then shipped to the New Orleans Pelicans in the deal that brought Anthony Davis to the Lakers.
