The Pro Bowl is a time for players in the NFL to come together, have a little bit of fun, and represent their team and conference while competing in mini-games and activities.

A late selection to the Pro Bowl festivities, Derek Carr used this platform to speak about his future in the league, specifically as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.

After the 2022 regular season, Carr announced on social media that he would not be returning to the Raiders in 2023.

Carr doesn’t want to return to the Raiders, and will now test free agency.

He has a career regular season record of 63-79 and has thrown for 35,222 yards, 217 touchdowns, and 99 interceptions.

Throughout his career, Carr has been a serviceable starter for the Raiders, but the team has never been able to make a splash in the postseason.

Although Davante Adams was traded to the Raiders before the 2022 season, one player alone was not able to bring the Raiders out of their playoff woes.

Who will be willing to take a chance on Carr in 2023?

Several teams need a new quarterback, but Carr’s contract could scare teams away, given that he signed an extension until 2025.

Carr is 31 years old and has plenty of time left in the league, assuming another team will take a chance on him.

The 2023 offseason will be filled with plenty of quarterback conversations, and Carr is just one of the many dominoes that has yet to fall.

Where will Carr end up next season?
