The past 24-hours have been a nightmare for Skip Bayless.

It all started with a poorly worded tweet about the NFL considering postponing the Bills vs. Bengals game Monday night.

The reason for the postponement comes from Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffering a cardiac arrest after a tackle.

With his tweet appearing intensive to everyone, he has spent his time trying to play damage control.

Bayless opened his show “Undisputed,” making a speech to his viewers about how he felt about Damar Hamlin.

However, it felt awkward and weird to one viewer.

While Bayless says “I’m not sure I’m capable of doing this show today,” he still continues his show.

Despite keeping up a tweet many want him to delete, he pushed on with his show.

Many people didn’t believe in his apology and saw his opening as a fake attempt to make things right.

With Bayless saying “maybe we will fail,” it’s puzzling why he’d even do the show.

He’s now receiving even more criticism for his awkward opening speech.

Had he just apologized, and not added in his part about the show possibly offending people, he might have come off as more sincere.

However, adding that part into his speech is making him trend in a bad way.
