Chicago Bears quarterback Justin Fields will no longer remain quiet over missed calls.

After Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles, he was done with these calls that officials miss.

To him, it was the last straw in a season where he’s taking plenty of hits.

So what is the young quarterback saying and what sparked him to say these things?

Fields Feels Like He Needs To “Beg” For Refs To Call Penalties

NFL fans get really touchy over quarterbacks who “beg” for flags.

However, Fields now feels he must do this after Sunday’s game against the Eagles.

It all stems from a play where Fields slid, giving himself up as a runner.

But after sliding, defense tackle Ndamukong Suh came in and hit Fields in the head.

In the video, Suh punches towards Fields’ head, then grabs and pulls down on his head.

With the NFL rules stating this is a penalty, as Fields gave himself up as a runner, he’s rightfully angry.

While some defend the play because Fields is a running quarterback, the NFL rules are clear on this play.

Defensive players can’t hit the quarterback once he starts the sliding motion.

With Suh hitting Fields in the head area, then pulling down afterward, it’s clear the officials made a mistake.

While the wording that the young quarterback uses might upset some NFL fans, he’s speaking out about how he feels.

To him, he feels if he doesn’t “beg” for these calls, there won’t be a flag.

Unless these officials make these obvious calls, Fields won’t feel safe on the field.
