JBS’s IT hiring activity declines by 30.9% in October 2022


Brazil-based company JBS’s IT hiring declined 30.9% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 6.39% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 1.93% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 0.63% decline over the last three-month average share.

Computer and Information Analysts tops JBS IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by JBS, Computer and Information Analysts emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 37.5% in October 2022, and a 25% drop over September 2022, while Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a share of 25% in October 2022, and registered a decline of 75%. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers held a share of 18.75% in October 2022, a 57.14% drop from September 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at JBS

North America emerged as the leading region in the global food IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 68.75% share, which marked a 67.65% drop over the previous month.

South & Central America stood next with 25%, registering a flat month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 6.25% share and a flat growth over September 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s food industry IT hiring activity with a 68.75% share in October 2022, a 67.65% decline over September 2022. Brazil featured next with a 25% share, flat growth over the previous month.

Junior Level jobs lead JBS IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 81.25%, down by 51.85% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 12.5% share, a decline of 66.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 6.25% share, down 83.33% over September 2022.
