Russia-Ukraine war live updates: Putin claims strikes across Ukraine



A torrent of attacks hit in at least 10 areas of Ukraine in apparent Russian retaliation for an attack on the strategic Crimean Bridge this past weekend. Ukrainian officials reported injuries and deaths, although the total number remains unclear.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Russia of targeting energy facilities and civilians across the country, including in and around Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, Vinnytsia, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy and Kharkiv. And Denys Shmyhal, Ukraine’s prime minister, reported that at least 11 key infrastructure facilities in eight regions and the city of Kyiv were damaged. He warned resident to prepare for temporary blackouts in electricity, water supplies and communications.
