Bam Adebayo of the Miami Heat is one of the best big men in the league and has been since entering the NBA in 2017.

His current career average is 13.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.5 assists.

But he reached new heights in the latest season with 19.1 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists a game.

Many argue that Adebayo is just getting better.

That is a wild thought when you consider all that he has already accomplished in the league.

Two years ago, Adebayo committed one of the best blocks of the season against one of the league’s best players.

Down in the Orlando bubble, Adebayo swatted down a shot from none other than Jayson Tatum of the Boston Celtics.

It was a masterful play from Adebayo, who stopped the shot despite Tatum’s lightning-fast speed and all of the air that he caught.

Miami fans are still talking about this moment – and wanting more from their center.

Bam Bam’s Block

Adebayo’s crazy block against Tatum was just one of the many wonderful moments from the Heat during that playoff run.

Of course, they would end up going all the way to the NBA Finals that year.

But they would be taken down by LeBron James and his Los Angeles Lakers.

Still, it was the first time that many NBA fans saw the true power and potential of Adebayo, who has continued to impress since then.

The upcoming season will be an important one for Adebayo because the Heat have not made many changes to their squad in the offseason.

They want to storm through the playoffs again and make the Finals and they can only do that if everyone – including Adebayo – is playing at the top of their games.
