Russia’s food industry IT recruitment activity drops 7.5% in July 2022


Russia’s food industry registered a 7.5% drop in IT hiring activity in July 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 4.62% in July 2022 when compared with June 2022.

Out of the food industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 4.85% share in July 2022, recording a decrease of 0.52% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Russia’s food industry’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Russia’s food industry in July 2022.

1) Database and Network Administrators and Architects recorded a share of 72.41% in July 2022, registering a 61.54% growth over the previous month.

2) Computer Support Specialists claimed a 17.24% share, a decrease of 16.67% over the previous month.

3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 6.9%, registering an 81.82% decline from June 2022.

4) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers captured a share of 3.45%, down 66.67% over the previous month.

Top five food companies in Russia’s IT recruitment activity in July 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Russia’s food industry during July 2022 over June 2022.

Cherkizovo Group posted 27 IT jobs in July 2022 and registered a drop of 10% over the previous month, followed by Ros Agro with 2 jobs and a 60% drop. .

Junior Level job postings dominate in July 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 86.21%, down by 21.88% from June 2022. Mid Level positions with a 13.79% share, registered an increase of 33.33% compared with the previous month.
