The MLB All-Star Game is very cool among fans because it shows players in a much more relaxed state of mind.

For a few days, most players forget about the losing streak of their team, and other potentially stressful situations related to the season to relax a bit, joke around, share some laughs, and see some old friends.

This was the case with Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani.

His Angels are very bad, finishing the first half with an ugly 39-53 record.

Yet he was all smiles at Dodger Stadium, sharing moments with some of the All-Stars and enjoying his time.

He had a hilarious interaction with New York Yankees catcher Jose Trevino, an All-Star for the first time in his career.

Trevino, according to The Athletic, approached Ohtani to ask him a very specific question, using a surprising language.

“During the MLB #AllStarGame, Jose Trevino recalled asking Shohei Ohtani one particular question in Japanese,” The Athletic tweeted, with a picture showing the question:

An Incredibly Funny Moment

If there was a LOL moment during the All-Star festivities, this one has to be it.

Trevino must have been practicing his Japanese just to mess around with Ohtani.

But he likely got what he wanted: his attention and a few laughs.

Trevino has been a true revelation for the Yankees.

Initially acquired in a pre-season trade with the Texas Rangers as a backup catcher, he won a place in the starting lineup with his excellent defense and his improving offense.

He has hit .251/.299/.415 with seven home runs so far, and nobody in the league steals strikes like he does.

He has been a true force behind the plate for the Bombers.

It’s nice to know he can learn some Japanese, too!
