Raheem Mostert will be starting the third chapter of his NFL career as he returns to the Miami Dolphins.

The first chapter started with Miami wherein he was signed by the Dolphins from the Philadelphia Eagles practice squad in 2015.

After that, he suited up for four more teams over two seasons.

The second part of his career happened with the San Francisco 49ers wherein he stayed for six seasons.

It was here that he had the best season of his career so far with 772 yards and eight rushing touchdowns in 2019.

But just when San Francisco was looking like a home, he suffered a season-ending knee injury.

The 49ers did not renew his contract and he signed with the Dolphins again.

Mostert would like to make up for lost time after playing just nine games in the previous two seasons.

For that to happen, he must translate his speed rating on Madden NFL 23 on the field.

The video game’s official Twitter account revealed that Mostert is at the top of the list in terms of speed with a 95 rating.

At the second spot are Jonathan Taylor and Kene Nwangwu with identical 94 ratings.

Coming in at third are Derrick Henry, Tony Pollard, Kenneth Walker III, Matt Breida, and Ty Chandler with 93.

Nathan Cottrell and Nick Chubb close the list at 92.

Mostert Must Dazzle The Dolphins At Training Camp

For now, he looks to be the second-stringer on the team’s depth chart at running back behind Chase Edmonds.

But he could change the narrative with a strong training camp.

He can use his speed to zip through gaps and gain a lot of yards on the ground.

However, he must be aware of the situation to find the best path forward when he gets the ball.

More importantly, he must stay healthy or he won’t have many opportunities to bounce back.
