The 15-year-old from Toronto captured gold in the women’s 400-metre individual medley with a world junior record time of four minutes, 32.04 seconds.

It’s the fourth medal at the event for McIntosh, who also claimed gold in the 200-metre butterfly, silver in the 400-metre freestyle and bronze in the 4×200-metre freestyle.

Canada also added a bronze medal Saturday in the women’s 4×100-metre medley relay featuring the quartet of Kylie Masse, Rachel Nichol, Maggie Mac Neil and Penny Oleksiak.
