Nina Parker is a pressure to be reckoned with.
Previous this month, the E! megastar celebrated her spot on ESSENCE‘s 124 Black Girls in Hollywood listing, which acknowledges probably the most robust voices within the movie and TV trade, from “influential dealmakers to a brand new technology of main girls.”
Celebrating the “unreal” fulfillment, Nina joined Glee actress Amber Riley, Abbott Basic actress Quinta Brunson and extra icons at ESSENCE‘s Black Girls In Hollywood Awards on Thursday, March 24.
In an unique purple carpet interview with E! Information, Nina shared why being venerated via ESSENCE is without equal accolade for her.
“Each and every little Black woman reads ESSENCE whilst she’s getting her hair finished, so for me, that is like my Oscars,” Nina stated. “In case you are said via ESSENCE as a Black girl, it does not get any higher than that. So, for me, it simply used to be the whole lot.”
And what is subsequent for the trailblazer? Nina has a couple of objectives in thoughts.
