The Arizona Diamondbacks have tied the World Series at one game apiece.

Now headed back home they are hoping to keep the good times rolling.

Not many people thought the Diamondbacks would be in this situation.

They entered the playoffs as the final Wild Card team.

Now, they sit three wins away from winning the World Series.

One player that has flourished in the playoffs for the Diamondbacks is catcher Gabriel Moreno.

He is one of the youngest catchers in the sport but he continues to impress.

According to MLB, Moreno is one of the youngest catchers to ever homer in a postseason game.

At 23 years and 256 days old, Moreno is fifth on the list.

Moreno has been great in the middle of the Diamondbacks lineup.

He has batted third in most games this postseason and continues to show why the Diamondbacks trust him so much.

Having an elite offensive catcher is rare in MLB.

Most of the teams that have one played deep into the postseason.

Even the Rangers have two good offensive catchers, Jonah Heim and Mitch Garver.

Moreno’s homer in Game 2 sparked the Diamondbacks en route to scoring nine runs.

Arizona traded for Moreno from the Toronto Blue Jays back in December before this season.

That move is paying off for them in the postseason.

Moreno is batting .250 with four home runs and 10 RBI this playoffs.

Also, his OPS is .816, which is a number only one catcher reached during the regular season.

Arizona now has the next three games at home, and if they win all three they crown themselves World Series champions.
