Washington Commanders team owner Dan Snyder must feel his back is against the wall.
There’s a chance that his fellow NFL owners can vote him out, especially after that lengthy article published on ESPN regarding their operation.
He speculates they have enough numbers to remove him from his current position.

NFL Network insider Tom Pelissero shared a copy of that letter through Twitter.
Snyder sent that letter to address “false and malicious statements about the Washington Commanders, our management team, and me and my family.”
Snyder also expressed his disdain for ESPN diminishing the accomplishments of team president Jason Wright.
Likewise, the Commanders owner felt the need to address the matter regarding the use of private investigators to keep an eye on other owners and Commissioner Roger Goodell.
“That is patently false and intended to erode the trust and goodwill between owners that I take quite seriously,” Snyder added.
He closed the letter by reiterating that the accusations in that lengthy article are nothing but lies.
Snyder Feeling The Heat
ESPN risks its reputation of being a trustworthy source of sports news if there’s not truth in what they have written about the Commanders.
Likewise, a change in demeanor by the usually defiant Snyder is monumental, possibly because he might have gotten word about a potential vote for his ouster.
He is showing goodwill through this letter which reads more like an act of desperation.
It would be better for Snyder to clear the allegation being thrown against his team.
Aside from the unsafe working environment within the organization, especially for women, the Commanders were also found to be keeping two sets of accounting books to hide some of their revenue from the league office.
