Lisa Marie Presley wasn’t exactly singing “Jailhouse Rock” when her daughter Riley Keough called her from prison as a teenager.
The Daisy Jones & The Six actress shed light on her “rebellious” teenage years and revealed that she actually got arrested as a minor.
“She had her rebellious moment, I also had that,” Riley said on the Jan. 15 episode of Call Her Daddy of her late mother, “Where I would sneak out and hang out with people I shouldn’t, wasn’t allowed to, and getting arrested.”
While the Zola star added that she doesn’t remember ever seeing her own mugshot, she does recall the details of what led to her run-in with the police.
“It was for…I can’t say this! It was for breaking and entering,” Riley confessed. “I went to a party at my friend’s house, but I didn’t know that it wasn’t my friend’s house. It was a house for sale. The police came, and most people got away and then about 10 of us got arrested.”
And, if she thought getting arrested was bad, having to face her mother’s reaction may have been worse.
