A wine bar, a bakery, and a coffee shop are all within walking distance, as is a park with a playground.

The ferry terminal in Sandusky, a base for trips to the Lake Erie islands, is half an hour away. Cleveland and Toledo are both around an hour away.

Indoors: From the sidewalk, a paved path runs to the covered porch, where a door opens to a foyer with hardwood floors and toile wallpaper.

Through a wide doorway flanked by a set of original columns is the living room, where the walls are blue and the decorative fireplace has a red brick surround. Behind the living room is a dining room with exposed brick and easy access to the kitchen, which has black-and-white checkerboard floors and newer appliances with bronze-tone hardware.

At the back of the kitchen one door reveals a stacked washer and dryer, and another a powder room with blue wainscoting. Also off this part of the house is an enclosed sun porch with deck-facing windows.

The primary suite, directly off the foyer is sunny and big enough for a king-size bed. Its bathroom has a double vanity and a walk-in shower.

The other three bedrooms are upstairs, all with carpeted floors and angled ceilings. They share a full bathroom.

Outdoor space: Behind the house is a deck covered by a pergola, and around the corner is a side yard with grass and a small vegetable garden. The two-car garage is attached.
