Several NFL teams have head coaching vacancies right now, and interviews with candidates to fill those positions have begun.
There are a few very intriguing and promising candidates, including Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn.
Glenn reportedly has interviews with five teams — the New York Jets, New Orleans Saints, Las Vegas Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars and Chicago Bears — scheduled for the next few days, according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.

Glenn, along with Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson, who also is a prime head coaching candidate, and head coach Dan Campbell have done a remarkable job in turning around a franchise that had long been either mediocre or an outright laughingstock.
The Lions were 3-13 in 2021, Glenn’s first season as their defensive coordinator, but won eight of their last 10 games the following year, and last season came within minutes of advancing to the Super Bowl.
This season, they will be taking an NFC-best 15-2 record into the playoffs, which will start with a divisional round game following a bye.
Detroit had some defensive problems late in the regular season, but most of them could be attributed to the many injuries it had, as the Lions were rock solid on that side of the football prior to December.
Defense is one department the Lions have dramatically improved in a short amount of time, and that will no doubt make Glenn an attractive head coaching candidate across the league.
