Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors is now 36 years old and is approaching the end of his career.
We aren’t sure how much longer the basketball legend will remain in the league, but there is no doubt he is closer to the end than the beginning.
Speaking with ESPN, via Legion Hoops, Curry was honest about his diminishing time.
He said he wants to keep playing, but he knows the reality of his situation.
Curry said:
“I want to do this for as long as I can, but the clock’s ticking.”

Curry has wowed the NBA audience for 15 years and is still posting 22.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game in 2024-25.
He’s perhaps the greatest shooter of all time and has earned 10 All-Star appearances, four championships, and MVP twice.
His mark in history is unquestionable, and even if he stepped down from the league today, he would be considered one of the best of all time.
But Curry is a natural competitor and doesn’t want to hang it up just yet.
However, basketball is a very competitive and physical game, even for a guard like him.
He has come to terms with the fact that he won’t be playing for many more seasons and wants to get as much out of his remaining time as possible
So, what can Curry get done before he retires?
Is it possible to win another championship?
No one should ever count Curry and his team out, even when they are struggling.
But every defeat and missed postseason brings him one step closer to retiring and stepping away from the game forever.
