2025 Golden Globes: Vin Diesel Calls Out Dwayne Johnson Amid ‘Fast & Furious’ Feud
Dwayne Johnson is, once again, ready to rock.
In fact, just hours after attending the 2025 Golden Globes, the Red One actor was the first one in the ring for the premiere of WWE’s Raw on Netflix—which had previously been shown on broadcast for over 30 years.
“The Rock is back,” Chris Gardner wrote on X Jan. 6 alongside a video of the pro-wrestler, “jumping in the ring to kick off this new era on @netflix.”
And while he stood on the ring ropes looking out into a crowd of enthusiastic fans chanting his name, the 52-year-old was also joined by some of the biggest names in wrestling—including John Cena, Hulk Hogan and Shawn Michaels.
But this new era was a special one for the Moana star, as he expressed his honor to represent his Samoan, Polynesian and Black culture with a “warrior spirit.”
“After 20yrs of proudly carrying our culture with me around the world, I can’t wait to soon return back home to Samoa. I already have chills just thinking about it,” Dwayne wrote on X Jan. 5. “Until then, I’ll come back home to @WWE tomorrow night as we make history on @netflix and begin a new and exciting era.”
